GPS Joint Program Office:
Under Lockheed Martin’s GPS III Phase A program, ISI is defining GPS civil aviation navigation requirements, developing GPS III aviation safety and integrity architecture, and assessing system integrity design safety.
Previously, we worked with the GPS Joint Program Office creating the GPS Users and Requirements Database (GUARD), which included information on the status of the GPS constellation, WAAS and LAAS, scheduled interference, and interference investigations that might affect GPS usage. This program provided the FAA GPS Program a direct interface with representatives from civil user groups, military managers, NASA, DOT P-7, USAF Space Command, the GPS Joint Program office and other Interagency GPS Executive Board member organizations that establish GPS policy.
In addition, we have worked with service branches, including the Air Force, Joint Personnel Recovery Agency, Marine Corps, and Navy.
