Software Engineering is the engineering discipline of creating software applications to satisfy both technical and non-technical business and client goals within a set of constraints. Software engineering addresses the technical aspects of writing and maintaining code while documenting that code and meeting quality and schedule goals. We also handle related areas like designing and building software systems and managing their implementation, scheduling, budgeting, and ongoing operation.
On our GPRS project, we have managed the implementation and operation of the key server software (TFAS) and have designed, built, managed, scheduled, and budgeted the whole of the software engineering effort—including firmware, server software, libraries, and user interface applications. ISI engineers implemented the user applications and libraries.
In other projects, ISI has designed and implemented server and client software for GPS monitoring systems, as well as designed and created web applications and web sites.
