| International Support |
 Since air traffic has become a global interaction,international support facilitates communication between aviation communities worldwide. Our goals are to assure the safety and economy of international operations and to promote harmonization between the U.S. and international aviation communities.
ISI provides a range of international support through the FAA, from early concepts for new aviation technologies through operational implementation. On our GPSTAC contract, ISI has supported the FAA in the development of bilateral cooperative agreements to establish common goals and work plans between the U.S. and partner nations; has organized and executed multi-national flight trials to demonstrate operational concepts, technology transfer and interoperability; and has supported the development and harmonization of international standards through participation with ICAO, RTCA, and in international SBAS and GBAS international working groups. On our GPS & RNP contract, ISI coordinates criteria development with ICAO and other international bodies.
