Systems Engineer/LAAS Siting Engineer
Responsibilities: Analyzes requirements. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of workflow, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action. Applies business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies/principles and business process modernization projects.
Experience: Knowledge of FAA commissioning process, experience in planning for systems to be deployed into the National Airspace System. Experience in site Installation for the FAA, including all aspects of planning for site installation, site preparation, and physical installation and testing of NAS systems. Must be familiar with FAA processes and products regarding detailed site selection criteria, formal site surveys, site implementation plans, as-built drawings, environmental assessments, installation schedules, site preparation support, and coordinated site acceptance testing.
Requires: Minimum of 5 years experience and Bachelors Degree or equivalent in related discipline.
