As part of an international bilateral agreement between the FAA and Brazil, ISI provides technical support to implement satellite navigation in Brazil. This includes the initial planning, testing, integration and engineering of Brazil’s implementation of CNS/ATM technologies. ISI has been performing this role for over six years.
Additionally, in conjunction with the US Department of Transportation Volpe Transportation Center, ISI is developing a set of analysis tools to provide Brazil with a GNSS Performance Monitoring System that is capable of independent monitoring, airspace and augmentation system prediction and planning, NOTAMs, public dissemination of performance information, and data collection and archiving.
