ISI AWARDED $25 MILLION CONTRACT BY FAA
MCLEAN, VA, Sept 22, 2008 – Innovative Solutions International,
Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Federal Aviation Administration
for Professional, Technical, Administrative and Management services in
support of Performance Based Navigation Technology. The contract has
an estimated total value of $25 million over five years with all options
exercised. Work will be performed onsite at the Mike Monroney
Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and at FAA Headquarters
in Washington D.C.
ISI will support FAA Flight Standards in their
work to advance the implementation of Performance Based Navigation.
This will include the development of required new classification systems
of en route, terminal, departure and approach operations –
such as criteria for Required Navigation Performance (RNP),
Area Navigation (RNAV), and conventional navigation systems.
